  • potential strategy with a strong early game chosen is to build up an early comp until you have a lot of money, then sell all and reroll for a new chosen
  • play the strongest board you have every turn
  • probably more worth it to buy XP than reroll
  • rod - mage or assassin reroll, snowball, no autoattackers use
  • sivir gives attack speed to her team
  • yuumi heals furthest target
  • no morellos on elise
  • need spatulas for cultists, elderwood
  • 2-1 level up
  • prelevel for higher cost units
  • nidalee in the corner, but pay attention to positioning
  • assassins: need spatula + crit glove
  • lee sin is good against nasus reroll
  • sett front line - solo in front row

Items to Slam

HoJ/IE/LW/RFC/JG/Morello/GA

  • Hand of Justice is the most flexible damage item. It can be used on any carry.
  • GA is a consistent defensive item, and I would play it on any carry.
  • IE/LW for Slayers, Sharpshooters, Talon
  • RFC for Kayle, Akali, Slayers
  • Jeweled Gauntlet for Kayle, Asol, Sett, Neeko
  • Morello for Kennen, Morgana, Sejunani Sunfire Cape: Before 3-1, insta slam. Afterwards, I would not slam it. It has been nerf to the point where it is weak in the late game. Giant Slayer: A counter item for beating Brawlers or Warlords Bramble Vest: A counter item for IE and JG

End-of-season Grind

Notes from: How to gain one or more tier/division in 2 weeks : CompetitiveTFT

Levelling

  • for most of the time that rolling on 6 (3-2), 7 (4-1), and 8 (5-1) to stable is effective in a midroll game. Ending up with 20g or more after the rolldown is ideal although if you are low-rolling and need to go to 10g then you do it.
  • If highrolling and put in a position to winstreak 4+ rounds, leveling and rolling a bit (if necessary) on 6 (3-1), 7 (3-5) is the ideal play
  • Fast 8 would only be useful in scenarios where comp you are playing is heavily contested OR you are below 45hp and need an immediate board spike relative to others in the lobby; otherwise I would wait to 5-1 to 8 (if lobby is slow) or soft 8 (level 8 w/o rolling much) (if lobby is aggro)
  • Fast 8 is griefing if you do not have at least 30 gold for missing 2* 4 cost or 50+ gold for board transition

blue buff item slam tier list

S+: lee, A: kindred, yuumi, akali (while IE is slightly better, blue buff still noticeably increases DPS), B: veigar, asol (main obj. is for it to ult twice a round), aatrox (same obj. as asol)

other

  • TITAN’S RESOLVE.
  • For 4 cost carries (kayle/olaf/trynd/asol/xayah), if you are just trying to get it 2 starred then 30 gold is a good minimum to work with (40+ gold if you somehow have 0 copies of the 4 cost-carry)
  • If your comp is uncontested, 3 starring a 4 cost is almost always better compared to going 9 (except Olaf)
